If Max were able to speak in a language we could understand, he could tell us many stories about his very long and colourful life.
A very senior gentleman, but of immensely sharp wit, he has a strong personality and will never be shy in letting you know what he wants.
At the time of painting, Max was eighteen and playing with his friends, the butterflies in the garden, being careful not to harm them!
