Originally a house guest for what was to be twelve months, Miaow moved permanently into our home when she found she could take over everything; indulge in superb gourmet cuisine (too indulgent to mention here), romp in the garden whenever she chose and nap on her own chair in sunny afternoons on the front verandah.
For recreation, she could tease the German Shepherd next door.
A nice life indeed!

A very pretty lady (she knew that) with a very "I come first at your expense" attitude, she became a thoughtful (yes) and great friend in her later years.She even purred!

Miaow left us one very sad morning in May 2000. She was about seventeen. The references for this painting were an old photograph and many memories.
