Sambo lives at home with his twin brother and another, more mature lady cat. They are all black but Sambo is the most gentle one. Having a special interest in food, he likes to help around the kitchen, especially when dinner is being prepared.
His favourite pastime is relaxing in the sun in his favourite wicker chair on the veranda, the best place to view the garden below. Sambo also enjoys brushing his thick, lustrous black coat.
At the time of painting Sambo was eight.
